A Step-by-Step Guide to Self Transfer Using Google Pay

Getting Started with Google Pay

  • To begin processing a self transfer, you first need to open the Google Pay (GPay) app on your device.
  • Once on the home screen, look for the option labeled “Pay” or tap on “New Payment” to proceed.

Locating the Self Transfer Option

  • After tapping on “Pay,” you will encounter various options available for transactions. Look for the “Self Transfer” option.
  • If this is visible, simply tap on it. If you do not see “Self Transfer,” head over to “Bank Transfer” and then select “Self Account” to find the right option.

Selecting Your Accounts and Confirming the Transfer

  • Next, you’ll see a list of your linked bank accounts.
  • Choose the account from which you want to send money (the ‘from account’) and then select the account where the money will be received (the ‘to account’).
  • After selecting the accounts, enter the amount you wish to transfer, for instance, ₹10000.

Once you have entered the amount, review the details before finalizing the transaction. Confirm your transfer, and your money will be sent instantly!
