How to delete Voter ID Card online by Voter Helpline Application or website.

You can delete or surrender your Voter ID card online using the Voter Helpline App or the NVSP (National Voters’ Service Portal) website by following these steps:


Method 1: Using the NVSP Website

  1. Visit the NVSP Portal
    Go to NVSP Website.
  2. Login or Register
    • Click on “Login/Register” and enter your credentials.
    • If you are a new user, register using your mobile number and email.
  3. Select Form 7 (Application for Deletion of Name)
    • After logging in, go to the “Forms” section and select Form 7 (Objection for Inclusion of Name / Deletion of Name).
  4. Fill in the Details
    • Enter your Voter ID details and reason for deletion (e.g., duplicate entry, death of voter, shifting to another constituency, etc.).
    • Attach any supporting documents (if required).
  5. Submit the Application
    • Review all details and submit Form 7.
    • You will receive a reference number to track the application.
  6. Verification & Approval
    • The application will be reviewed by the Election Commission.
    • You may be contacted for verification.
    • Once approved, your Voter ID will be deleted.

Method 2: Using the Voter Helpline App

  1. Download & Install the App
  2. Login/Register
    • Open the app and log in with your registered mobile number or create a new account.
  3. Go to Forms Section
    • Navigate to the “Forms” option and select Form 7.
  4. Enter Required Details
    • Fill in your Voter ID details and specify the reason for deletion.
    • Attach necessary documents (if required).
  5. Submit the Application
    • Review the details and submit the form.
    • You will get an acknowledgment reference number.
  6. Track Status
    • Use the reference number to check the status of your request in the app.
