Steps to Request a Refund
Request Refund via SBI Card Website
- Visit SBI Card Website.
- Log in with your User ID and Password.
- Go to “Help & Support” → “Email Us”.
- Choose “Excess Credit Balance Refund” and submit a request.
- The refund will be credited to your bank account within 7-10 working days.
Request Refund via SBI Card Customer Care
- Call SBI Card Customer Care at 1860 180 1290 (or the number mentioned on the back of your card).
- Inform the executive about the excess payment and request a refund.
- They may ask for verification details (name, card number, registered mobile number).
- The refund is usually processed via NEFT to your linked bank account.
Request Refund via email
- Your SBI Credit Card number (masked, e.g.,16 digit card number).
- The excess amount paid.
- Your bank account details for the refund.
- Attach a screenshot of the transaction (if possible)
