Steps to Activate Your UAN Number
Activating your UAN number is an essential step that grants you access to multiple EPFO services online. Follow these simple steps to activate your UAN number on the EPFO website:
- Visit the official EPFO website at epfindia.gov.in.
- Services-For Employees-Click Member UAN/Online Service options.
- Select the ‘Activate UAN’ option provided.
- Enter the required details including your UAN Number, member ID, Aadhar Card, Email ID, Name as per PF Records, date of birth, mobile number & Captcha.
- Click on the ‘Get Authorization Pin’ button to receive a OTP via SMS on your registered mobile.
- Enter the received OTP and click on ‘Submit’ to complete the activation.
- After Successful Validation, Your UAN Will be Activated.
- You will receive a password via SMS on your registered mobile number.
- Use this password to log in to the UAN Employee Portal,
Steps After UAN Activation
- Login to UAN Portal & Use your UAN as the User ID and the password received via SMS.
- Change your password after logging in.
- After activation, ensure your Aadhaar, PAN, and Bank details are linked to avoid any issues in EPF withdrawal.
- You can now check your EPF balance, download EPF passbook, and track claims online.
